1982 Nauset 27 '20 engine straight shaft

Durable Royal Lowell designed 1982 Nauset 27  - Updated with a Straight-Shaft  2020 MerCruiser 350 MPI engine having only 220 hrs currently. Cruises at 12-16 knots, wide open at 21 knots. Improvements include a full strip down of earlier electrical wiring and re-wired, new exhaust, running gear, and transmission rebuild.

This Nauset is 1 of only 3 that were made with the stylish teak wind shield.  Seaworthy and strong, this is a great running boat, fully benefitting  in the care of professional mariner owner. Ideal to fish, cruise, or simply anchor and play.

Work accomplished June 2023:  Bottom job  completed. Removed two old through-hulls, glassed over. Sanded bottom to 80 grit, added two coats of epoxy barrier coat. Added two coats of bottom paint. New Zincs on shaft and full bronze rudder. Also zinc painted prop and rudder with three coats. See Pictures at end of gallery.  Old steering is out replaced with new full hydraulic SeaStar steering installed. New Seastar pump, lines, cylinder, works perfectly. Cockpit has been scrubbed, sanded, and painted with Kiwi Grip. Two new cockpit hatches.
